The Media Foundation for West Africa (MFWA) is accepting applications for its 2025 Next Generation Investigative Journalism (NGIJ) Fellowship—a fully funded, three-month residential program in Accra (May–July 2025) for 20 early- to mid‑career Ghanaian reporters focused on tax justice, illicit financial flows (IFFs), and domestic resource mobilisation

What’s included:

  • In-depth training and mentorship with The Fourth Estate & Fact‑Check Ghana.

  • Funding and editorial support to produce two major investigations.

  • Certificate of Honour & monthly stipend.

Who’s eligible:

  • Mid-career (≥ 4 years) or strong early‑career journalists.

  • Commitment to full-time participation May–July 2025.

  • Women and journalists outside Greater Accra encouraged to apply opportunitiesforafricans.com.

Why it matters:
Ghana loses billions annually to IFFs that hinder public services. This fellowship empowers journalists to expose corruption and tax leaks—closing accountability gaps.

Application: Submit motivation letter (≤ 250 words), two published works, employer consent (if staff), and CV by April 30, 2025 mfwa.org.
